Exchange of best practices is a very important techniquein all Territorial Cooperation projects. It is cornerstone forthe transfer of know-how among partners.

The action supported Greek enterprises to develop Information andCommunication Technologies (ICT) in order to exploit innovative applicationson “smart” mobile devices and tablet PCs, and to make good use of theinternational potential and gain access to new target groups. It is funded bythe intermediate body “Digital Aid S.A.” within the framework of the “ DigitalConvergence” Operational Programme (OP-DC) of the National StrategicReference Framework 2007 – 2013 (NRSF 2007 – 2013).
The total aid allocated for the action was 15.000.000€ for all Greek regions.

The action supported Greek enterprises to develop Information andCommunication Technologies (ICT), in order to implement investment planson digital broadband content. It is funded by the intermediate body “DigitalAid S.A.” within the framework of the “ Digital Convergence” OperationalProgramme (OP-DC) of the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007 –2013 (NRSF 2007 – 2013).
The total aid allocated for the action was 40.000.000€ for all Greek regions.
Indicative examples of approved investment plans: educational booksdistribution via smart phones & internet, digital promotion of culturalcontent via smart phones & social media, newspapers and books disposal viaspecialized smart phones and tablet-PCs applications, broadband services onvisual content distribution, on demand.
Till 16/09/2011 “Digital Governance S.A.” approved 213 investment plansthroughout Greece, which have been evaluated successfully.

The action supported Greek retail enterprises to develop Information andCommunication Technologies (ICT), in order to implement investment planson general digital investments and so they can make good use of newtechnology tools for their development and cope with the negative effects ofthe current financial crisis and with any consumer’s behavioral changesbecause of it. It is funded by the intermediate body “Digital Aid S.A.” withinthe framework of the “ Digital Convergence” Operational Programme (OP-DC)of the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007 – 2013 (NRSF 2007 –2013).
The total aid allocated for the action was 100.000.000€ for all Greek regions.
1.683 investment plans were approved under the action reaching the totalbudget of € 76,73 mil

The action supports Greek hotel sector to develop Information andCommunication Technologies (ICT), in order to establish promotion websitesand online reservation systems. It is funded by the intermediate body “DigitalAid S.A.” within the framework of the “ Digital Convergence” OperationalProgramme (OP-DC) of the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007 –2013 (NRSF 2007 – 2013).
The total aid allocated for the action was 75.000.000€ for all Greek regions.
The total submission were 2.829 from which 2.143 were approved with totalinvestment amount about € 32,19 mil

The action supported businesses to develop Information and CommunicationTechnologies, in order to implement internet security investments. It wasfunded by the intermediate body “Digital Aid S.A.” within the framework ofthe “ Digital Convergence” Operational Programme (OP-DC) of the NationalStrategic Reference Framework 2007 – 2013
The total budget for the action “E-Security” was € 15.000.000 for all Greekregions
E-Security supported 664 enterprises develop investment plans on internetsafety amounting to € 14,7 mil., 553 enterprises fully completed theirinvestments and 92% of them have already received the total requested aid

“Egnatia Informatics” was an initiative developed by the “Association ofInformation Technology Companies of Northern Greece” (SEPVE) to the“Ministry of Finance” and the “Regional Administrations” of Northern Greece,in 2001. The action targeted to enhance the Northern Greek SME InformationTechnology Companies, located across the historical “Egnatia Highway”, inorder to remain competitive and promote new technologies and sustainablegrowth in the wider region.
The action “Egnatia Informatics” benefited enterprises belonging to the ICTsector with public aid from which 30% came from National Funds and the rest70% from ERDF. The total initial available public aid was set to € 4.5 mil.
Companies’ participation in the action “Egnatia Informatics” was wide andexceeded the initial expectations. This fact resulted to refinance and expandthe budget of the action three times following SEPVE’s indications, in order tomeet the needs of the market

“Digital Future” was an action designated to enhance SMEs in Greece developICT investments. The action was funded by the Information SocietyOperational Program (OP-IS) under the objective 3.2. “Enhance Greekenterprises enter digital economy.  The aim was to promote the use of ICT inGreek enterprises (especially SMEs), to develop new digital products –services and to develop digital content for high-speed networks.
Initially, the total budget for the action “Digital Future” was set to €16.000.000
786 investment plan proposals were accepted to participate in the action“Digital Future”, from 941 that were submitted initially.
