This course is designed to meet or exceed allrequirements of NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670 foroperations (Level I) level confined space rescue.
The purpose of this course is to create competentrescuers with:
Strong confined space rescue fundamentals
Ability to function as part of a rescue team
Understanding of tactical priorities and organization
Proficiency in technical skills and applications

Prerequisite Standard
NFPA 1006 Ch. 4.3.1: Level I (Operations)
This level shall apply to individuals who identifyhazards, use equipment, and apply limited techniquesspecified in this standard to perform technical rescueoperations.
