Purse: to play a brassinstrument, lips haveto be pursed tocreate a kind ofbuzzing noise.
Vibrate: lips do this.Hold lips togethertightly to make ahigh pitched buzz,relax lips to make alow pitched buzz.

Single-reed: clarinets andsaxophone are these typesof instruments. They havea single reed in theirmouthpiece whichvibrates to get the airinside the instrumentmoving.
Double-reed: theoboe uses this andproduces even morevibration.
