The Savanna has long periods ofdrought and the Senegal Gum Acaciahad adapted to it. It also adapted tostore water and having not lot ofwater.
It also grows in sandy
areas and Savanna’s
are mostly sand.
Baobab
The Baobab has adapted to store waterin it’s trunk during the dry months so itcan have water during the drymonths. It also needs a warm climate.
Bermuda Grass
In savanna’s there is poor soil so theBermuda Grass has adapted to growin poor soil. It has also adapted togrow where there has been fires orflooding. It prefers a dry and moistsometimes climate to live.
Elephant Grass
Elephant grass needs a warm climateand the savanna has a warm climatefor it to grow in. It also doesn'treproduce very well so it needs awarm climate so it doesn't die of frost.
Jackal Berry Tree
The savanna has termites that aeratethe land and the Jackal Berry Treeneeds aerated soil. Also it likes asandy ground and a Savanna has asandy ground.

The Jarrah Tree has adapted to growafter fires because the savanna hasmany fires. Also it grows in sandy, orgravely soil.
