Purpose of BY-LAWS :
By-laws spell out how the organization willoperate and they also configure the board ofdirectors. By laws specify the organization’s rulesof internal operation.
For example the by laws specify the number ofmembers of the Board, the length each memberserves on the Board, the officer positions, andhow meetings are conducted.
GOALS :
Strengthen the personal Network amongmembers
assist Black MBA’s with career advancement
Recommemnd and assist in placing MBA alumnion corporate boards
Promote business investment opportunities andbusiness development for members
Share strategies for personal wealth building
Assist KATZ Graduate School with recruiting bothstudents and falculty
Meetings :
Annual Membership Meeting heldduring Homecoming Weekend
Board of Directors Meetings –every quarter, ie. October, February,April and July
Standing Committees – As required
Board and Officers :
Board of Directors - minimum of15 members
