The Frontal Lobe

The Temporal Lobe
–The Temporal Lobe plays akey role in the formationof long-term memories. Italso controls our hearing.It processes what we hearso that we correctlyunderstand thatinformation.
The Parietal Lobe
–The parietal lobe controls alot of sensory information.Sensory informationincludes the differentsenses. The parietal lobe iswhere information such astaste, temperature andtouch are processed.
The Occipital Lobe
–The occipital lobe is incontrol of the visualprocesses. It is important tobeing able to correctlyunderstand what your eyesare seeing. The occipital lobemakes sense of visualinformation so that we areable to understand it.
The Cerebellum
–The cerebellum regulatesmotor movements. Thecerebellum coordinatesvoluntary movements suchas posture, balance,coordination, and speech.This results in smooth andbalanced muscular activity.
The Pons
–The Pons serves as amessage station betweenseveral areas of the brain.It helps relay messagesfrom higher and lowerparts of the brain. It alsoplays a key role in sleepand dreaming.
The Cerebrum
–The cerebrum is a large,folded mass of nervoustissue that makes up themajority of the humanbrain. The cerebrum is thewhole pink area. It is madeup of the four lobes of thehuman brain.
