To Summer

One day Summer was watching T.V. and sheasked her mom if she could have a pet. Hermom said that pets are a lot of responsibility,and a lot of money.
Mom can Ihave a pet?
That night Summer had a dream and shehad lot’s and lot’s of dogs! But in her dreamshe could not control all her dogs!
Tomanydogs!
The next day Summer did a lot ofthinking about if she wanted a pet or not.She thought that if she only had one dogit wouldn't be so hard
She told her Mom that she only wanted onedog but her Mom said no. “Maybe a cat”, herMom said . Summer liked that idea.
The next day Summer went to the pet store with her Mom.
When they got there they picked an orange tabby cat.

When she was walking home the kitten jumpedout of Summers arms and ran into the park! Itjumped onto the closest tree it could find.
Summer went up to the tree andstarted to call the cat. It worked butthe cat ran away through the park.
Finally Summer found her cat hidingbehind a near by bush.
When Summer got home It was verylate and when she almost fell asleepwhen she walked in the door.
The next day was a Saturday. Summer spent all dayPlaying with her new cat. She named it whiskers.
