1)Promote the development of a culturally diverse health careworkforce by recruiting undergraduate students fromeconomically and educationally disadvantaged andracially/ethnically diverse backgrounds into maternal and childhealth (MCH) professions
2) Encourage and motivate students to seek careers in
MCH by making undergraduate didactic, research,
clinical and/or field experiences available and exposing
students to Title V and other MCH agencies
3) Develop leadership skills, foster a broader public health
perspective and explore the integration of primary care
and public health to improve population health
