Sentence vs. Fragment
A sentence -group of words that doesexpress a complete thought because itcontains a main subject and main verb.
* Also called an independent clause
Main Subject + Main Verb= SENTENCE (a complete thought)
A fragment -type of grammar error that isa group of words that does not express acomplete thought because it is missing amain subject, main verb, or both.
* Also called a dependent clause
