In representation of the Portuguese ShootingFederation (FPT) I am proud to announce that we areapplying to organize the 2nd World RimfireChampionship in Lisbon next year (2016).
It is our commitment to make this a well organizedsport event, hopping to welcome athletes around theworld.
My name is António Churro, I am the FPT Director forthis sport, with the responsibility of organizing thisevent.

Shooting Range
The Shooting Range is located only 10kms from Lisbon's city center and right in theheart of the beautiful Jamor Valley, home of the Portuguese High PerformanceCenter. It is also located only 20kms from Lisbon's international airport.

The shooting range has 30x50m shooting lanes. The benches available have a steelstructure and heavy wood tops.

During your stay, the arms and ammunitions will be kept at the shooting range in highsecurity conditions, with 24h surveillance. The shooting range has also spacesavailable for gun cleaning.

GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and lies on the north bank of the Tagus Estuary, on the EuropeanAtlantic coast. It is the westernmost city in continental Europe. CLIMATE Due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon has a pleasant climate throughout theyear, sunshine is almost always a constant feature. The agreeable temperatures in thesummer months are an open invitation for a walk by the river, or to spend an afternoon inone of the many street cafés to be found all over the city.
