The Master Slide
•You can create your own layout and design, and other featuressuch as a footer that includes:
–the date, footer text and automatic page numbering.
•Whatever is shown on the master slide is visible on every slide inthe presentation and cannot be changed when editing individualslides – you have to go back into the master slide view to edit it.
Consistent fonts, colour scheme, logos and
 slide footers.

•The key benefit to using slide masters is that you can makeuniversal style changes to every slide in your presentation inone go.
•You save time because you don't have to type the sameinformation out on every slide.
•Images are saved once on the Master slide resulting in asmaller file size.
