Operations preparation
•Regional black start drills between control areascurrently taking place
•Verification of TEP’s Emergency Operations Center(EOC) readiness scheduled in April 2007
•Weekly check of EOC systems occurs
•Daily conference call between reliability coordinatorand control area operators to review systemconditions
•During summer peak AZ entities hold daily reliabilitycall
•New radio system deployed since last summer

•Installation of mobile transformer to support theVail area of TEP service territory until new 138kVsubstation is developed

•Mohave – Transmission from Pinnacle WestDelivery points to UNS loads is provided byWestern Area Power
•Santa Cruz load is served at peak with acombination of firm Western transmission andnon-firm transmission supported by localgeneration at Valencia

•Installed remote control switch at Canezsubstation to allow for operational flexibility
•Pre- storm season patrols completed with nomajor items identified for repair
