•In 2020 the brains of multitasking teens and youngadults are "wired" differently from those over age 35and overall it yields helpful results. They do not suffernotable cognitive shortcomings as they multitask andcycle quickly through personal- and work-related tasks.Rather, they are learning more and they are moreadept at finding answers to deep questions, in partbecause they can search effectively and accesscollective intelligence via the Internet. In sum, thechanges in learning behavior and cognition among theyoung generally produce positive outcomes.
