•Stick to reprimands only, (instead ofpunishing) as far as possible.
•Criticize the habit, not the child.
•Do not accuse or label the child.
•Tone should be matter of fact, not insulting.
•Avoid reprimanding in front of others.
•Do not punish in physical ways.
•Several small reprimands are better than onedrastic punishment.
•Be patient, remember habits die hard.
