The Employment componentof the STEP’s program is led bya Job Coach!
Our job coach will help each student:
Assess strengths and weaknesses
Identify strengths as well as any limitations.
Create a job plan based on studentinterests and abilities.
Provide necessary training for desired job
Assist student and potential employers tofind appropriate job placement.
Continued support
Once your student is hired, the job coachwill provide on-site, one-on-one training.This will enable the student to adjust totheir new roles in the workforce, andprovide encouragement and support.
A post high supervisor will continue tomonitor the students’ job performanceproviding feedback, evaluations, andcontinued support.
