•As an independent academic unit, Bren School is able to be at theforefront of undergrad education, offering 7 majors + 5 minors +multiple GE courses for non-majors

–Two majors are interdisciplinary (Computer Science andEngineering with Henry Samueli School of Engineering,Business Information Management with Paul Merage School ofBusiness)

–Biomedical Computing, Computer Game Science are the newestmajors

–Our majors prepare students for higher-level CS/IT work thatrequires a skill set broader than programming.

–Employment prospects remain strong – many Bren Schoolstudents get multiple job offers in areas such as: IT consulting,software engineering, database administration, projectmanagement, animation, research, teaching.
