 The Commission stated:
‘  The Nursing and Midwifery Council mustregulate advanced nursing practice, ensuringthat advanced practitioners are recorded assuch on the register and have the requiredcompetencies.  Stakeholders must alsoconsider how to reduce and standardise theproliferation of roles and job titles in nursing.’
