Mindy McKnight from Cutegirlshairstyles is a mum of 6. She does all her kidshairstyles. She is an awesome hair braider. She has over two million subscriberson YouTube. She lives in the Texas and she moved from Utah. She started herbraiding blog in 2008.
In 2001 her eldest children (Brooklyn and Bailey) were 18 months and Mindydidn't just want to do the simple ‘waterspout 'she became eager to do more newhairstyles. When the twins hair grew longer she took photographs of manyhairstyles and made it into a photograph book. She then let her children pick ahairstyles from the book every day. And later people started to ask how she didtheir hairstyles. So in 2008 October she began a blog called cute girls hairstyles.She then made a YouTube channel. She uploads a new hair tutorial every Sunday.She has had many collaborations on YouTube including anneorshine, Lilith moonand even Disney.
She is an inspiration to me as she is very creative and she inspires me to dohairstyles.
Reflection
She has many varieties of hairstyles and they vary from long hairto short hair and complexity. Her husband, Shaun sometimesfilms tutorials that are so easy a dad could do it.(daddy do’s).
I think these hairstyles are so easyyet there are many variations andthey look beautiful.
This hairstyle iscalled the twistbackinto square knot.
This is called thefour twist ponytail.
Favourite braids
•My favourite hairstyles are the zipper braid,bow braid and the lace braided bun.
This is one of the most beautiful braids I have everseen yet it is not one of the easiest braids as thestranding is very difficult and confusing. Mindy inher tutorials makes it quite easy to understand howto do this braid. It takes about 8 minutes to do.
And you can wear it as a up do ,half-up half-downhairstyle. There are many things you can do withthis braid. I will be using this hairstyles for my artsactivity as it is one of my favourites and I can do it.
Bow braid
I love the bow braid as it looks like lots of bowsin a braid it is not that hard to do and thereare many ways to style this. The top pictureshows the primrose bow braid and this wasused in a very popular movie called catchingfire (hunger games #2).This braid is fairly easybut uses a lot of hairspray and gel.
Lace braided bun
•I really like this hairstyleas it is an up do and it canbe worn casually or for aparty or wedding. It holdswell all day long and looksbeautiful

I am inspired by them as they have many ideasand hair tutorials I will be using some of theirhairstyles or recreating them in my arts activity.They make very difficult hairstyles easy and theyare very inspirational to me. They are amazing.
