An International Standardization
Case Study Analysis Competition
Purpose: To promote education about standardizationamong universities. Provides an opportunity to makestudents aware of the issues surrounding standardizationfrom corporate strategy, industry, regional, andinternational perspectives. Creates a forum for discussionamong students, academics and practitioners to build acommunity of learners.
Timeline: Regional and International competitions to beheld in 2010.

Cisco had expressed interest in using their HDteleconference technology – TelePresence, to help usrun this competition.
This is GREEN: No “long distance” travel is needed forthe contestants.
They can go to a city where Cisco (or IBM) has theequipment installed in their offices and use theequipment to present to the judges.
