“Faces in the Crowd”
John 12:12-19 (NIV)The next day the great crowd that hadcome for the Feast heard that Jesuswas on his way to Jerusalem. They tookpalm branches and went out to meethim, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed ishe who comes in the name of the Lord!”“Blessed is the King of Israel!”

Jesus found a young donkey and satupon it, as it is written, “Do not beafraid, O Daughter of Zion; see, yourking is coming, seated on a donkey’scolt.”  At first his disciples did notunderstand all this. Only after Jesuswas glorified did they realise that thesethings had been written about him andthat they had done these things to him.

Now the crowd that was with him whenhe called Lazarus from the tomb andraised him from the dead continued tospread the word.  Many people,because they had heard that he hadgiven this miraculous sign, went out tomeet him.  So the Pharisees said to oneanother, “See, this is getting usnowhere. Look how the whole world hasgone after him!”

•"When Jesus was starting down the Mount ofOlives, his large crowd of disciples were happyand praised God because of all the miraclesthey had seen. They shouted, “Blessed is theking who comes in the name of the Lord! Peacein heaven and glory to God.”Some Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus,“Teacher, make your disciples stop shouting!”Luke 19:37-39 (CEV)

•No matter which face is yours, Jesusloves you. He gave His life for you andHe rose again that you might haveeternal life.
•As Jesus went through the crowd He saweach and every face, He knew each andevery story. Jesus sees your face todayand He knows your story.  Will you allowHim to be the Lord and Saviour of yourlife?
