Re-usable parts and materials
•Saves money- do not need to make more parts by re-using old parts
Making the products as small as possible, keeping in mind that theperformance should not be impaired.

The Home Appliance Recycling Law

•Televisions, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, and Air Conditioners
•Requires that 55% is recycled

•Consumers buy recycle tickets from the post office $24
•They take the washing machine to retailers with the coupon
•The fee is transferred to the producers
•The producers can either recycle the washing machines themselvesor pay a third party to do so for them. *Norway
