The Saudi Arabian economy’sincome is made by a bigpercentage of petroleum producttrade; they have exported over$238 billion worth of oil. Saudi oilreserves are one of the largest inthe world, they provide onequarter of the world’s supply.

They also farm dates and grains,and vegetables.

Clothing in Saudi Arabia (5)

Men and boys wearthe thawb, an anklelength piece of clothingwhich is long and fitsloosely. Athough thethawb covers almost theentire body, it allows airto circulate freely.

Women wear long andmodest clothing, intraditional cites, and forspecial occasions,women wear a longdress with full sleeves, itis called jallabia (orsometimes a thawh).

To greet someone, people in SaudiArabia say “Assalamu-Alaikum”which as you probably alreadyknow is a common greeting inSaudi Arabia, it means “Peace bewith you” and “may God blessyou”.
