The CHIP
•Goal: To improve ‘Birthing’ attendance at Amuwo Odofin Health Centreand thus reduce maternal mortality significantly at the Local GovernmentArea.
•Process Objective:
–The process objective is to improve perception of Health Centre workersby the Community to 70% by June 2013
–To enlist Community buy-in measured by endorsement
–To train at least 20 Community Members as 'birthing centre advocates'by Dec 2013
•Outcome Objective: The outcome objective is to improve thenumber of births at the health centre to 40% by June 2014 from the currentbaseline of 10%.
