The sample size can be calculated as follows:
–p1 = 0.6; q1= 1-0.6 =0.4; p2 = 0.7; q2 =1-0.7=0.3;
–Z = 2.58; Z = 1.28.
–The sample size required for each group should be:
n = (2.58+1.28)2[(0.6)(0.4)+(0.7)(0.30] /(0.6-0.7)2 = 670.5
